Repti sun 2.0 good for waxy monkey tree frogs?

Hello, I just got 3 waxy monkey tree frogs and wanted to see if a repti sun 2.0 is the best for UVB? They don’t need anything like a 5.0 do they? Thanks!

Sorry this is a trial and error question...

Sun bulbs are not needed for amphibians. Plants are the ones needing uv. If your using real plants etc it might be worth considering flourescents....then regular bulbs for day and night

It depends on tank size etc.....

Regular bulbs are house bulbs.... NOrmal lamp bulbs....
Most don’t use over 60 watts or you can use two of any under this 60 watt... If you do go with higher wattage or pet store bought bulbs like sun bulbs etc insure you diffuse the lighting..

Diffused lighting is simply putting plants with large leaves up high in the tank so it darkens the tank below to protect the frogs eyes.... There is scientific evidence that over 60 watts can cause eye damage to amphibians...
