 Open air cage for wtfs

ok i have mine in an open air cage. i have temp and humidity gauges. its at right temp and right humidity. plus both frogs are bright green and blue. i have lots of plants and plenty of water dishes. i was just wondering if this would be good?

As long as you can keep the temp and humidity right it will be ok. But i’m not sure how you are doing that with an open air cage. What are the temp and humidity?
It maybe be hard to do this winter.

77°F and 42% humidity, my room is really humid because of all my other reptiles.

You really need a warm spot in there of 80-85F during the days as well as the humidity being at least 50% and up to 90% after a misting, but never even before a misting do you want to be under 50% (60% would be a better min.)

Like already mentioned, once you start running heat that will drop. The only way an open air cage would work is if you lived in a humid climate, which by your readings I assume you don’t. I’m in SE Wisconsin and our humidity is often times 80+% in summer, but as soon as the heat is on it drops to 30%. You would need a waterfall and misting system to make it work. They dry out very easily even with a large water bowl they can die of dehydration. so be careful.
