 Feeding question

is there some ratio on how big the food should be compared to the frog??? like if the cricket , moth or whatever is like half the size of the frog is that too big for him to eat? thanks for any advice...

 Feeding question

I find that babies and juveniles like small, which adults like meduim/large. Watch your frog feed...if he/she looks like its taking food with ease, it’s a good size...if not, go smaller.

A good rule of thumb for feeding is: The insect should be no larger than the width between the eyes of the frog.

I agree with whitie, for example with my red eyes that are adults (still a smaller frog species compared to say a whites) I feed 1/2" crickets which are mediums (or smaller mediums) and the crickets are not hard shelled at all.
