how do you train your dumpys to eat while your holding them and my dumpy turns red,,green,brown,blue,is there a problem with any of these colors

some of mine wont eat hand fed yet others will, Im not sure about the training part, mine like to hunt the crickets on thier own.
mine go green, blue and brown, never seen red.
heres 1 of my frogs

I don’t think there really is a way to "train" them - some feel more comfortable eating alone.

Mine usually stay near the blue, green, and brown colors, but it’s possible for them to turn a brick-reddish-brown color. One of mine does this. It’s basically brown with a tinge of brick-red.

i hand feed mine because he rather eat from my hand then him catching them himself... i hold the cricket infront of him to let him know that it is alive then he will eat it... sometimes when the crickets are small he bites me (not on purpose)... but i dont think you can train them to hand feed...

there is nothing wrong with your dumpy changing those colors... mine changes those colors too... he turns green when he is wide awake and happy... he turns redish when he is starting to wake up... he is brown when he is normally asleep... and i dont think mine turns blue though... i dont think that the colors are that much of a problem...
