 10 gallon expansion

Does anyone know how to secure a 10 gal. aquarium on top of another? ( With the bottom removed from the lower aquarium)

Aquarium cement would probably do the trick. Or duct tape. Or you could build a bracket for it with wood. Why would you remove the bottom from the lower tank? How would you keep the substrate, frogs, and plants from falling out the bottom? How would you feed your frogs?

haha, that makes more sense. You might consider building a frame above your tank and then putting mesh around it for air flow. Even better are the custom enclosures built from old cabinets. You seal the wood, put in glass doors and seel them, install lights, and you’re good to go. Look up custom vivariums with cabinets and you’ll get some good ideas.

I finished last night, just broke the bottom and epoxied together. seems pretty sturdy. It looks awesome and the frogs love it. They are hopping wildly all over

Yeah, usually 24 hrs is good. With stuff like silicone I like to give it 2 weeks to cure. This idea would be good for green tree frogs, who would really use the height well.
