Brainstorming about a 10 gallon tank...

Hello, i’m new to the forums. And new to reptiles too. I recently have taken an interest in reptiles, and i am enjoying observing a green anole i have now. Soon, i will be moving some fish from a 10 gal. i have into a larger aquarium, and i was thinking of replacing the fish with a reptile instead. I have been looking up suggestions for 10 gal tanks on the internet. One of the suggestions i found was frogs, and i kinda liked the idea. The Grey Tree Frog really caught my eye, so i did some research on how to take care of them. So, my idea for the tank, is to turn it on it’s side, so it is taller than it is wide, and get a custum screen so i can work with it on it’s side. Then i had read that you need 3 gal per frog, so, i was thinking of getting a pair of GTFs, does this sound ok? Thanks for any input.

Most people with gray tree frog experience would balk at 3 gallons per frog. It’d be tough to keep the envionment clean. For any tree frog 20 gallons is a good starting point for enough room, then add 5 gallons for each additional frog. Grays are a smaller tree frog, so you could get away with 1 in a 10 converted into a vertical tank. I would not keep more than 1.
