You shouldnt mix species. They are many reasons not too. First off it will stress out the frogs and whatever else you by and may cause the death of your animals. Also, the new additions could carry disease or parasites and they will most definitely transfer that to your frogs. Green tree frogs get bigger than anoles and might try to eat them. It is just a poor decision to mix species. If not right away, you will pay for it and so will your animals. Why jepordize the health and well being of your tree frogs just to suit your own selfish wants. Just put the anoles in another tank right next to the tree frogs.

What are good tank mates for tree frogs
face it, tanks are a small replica of frog’s natural enviornment. sticking a competeing animal in there with them just isn’t fair. it will stress them out and alot of other problems will arise. do not mix for any reason please for the sake of your froggies. i would love nothing more than to be able to get new frogs for my RETFs and them to be friends, but the fact of nature is they wouldn’t like it one bit.
