Soft Shell Disease PLEASE HELP! False Map Turtle

I have a False Map Turtle. He is a baby, and I got him from a store in Florida, but I live in Indiana. I have had him for almost a month and a half and he is not eating. I have provided live plants, and I try to feed him pellets, cat food, tuna, worms, romaine lettuce, feeder guppie fish, cuttle bone, etc. I have the UVB lights, and a 20 gallon tank for the two turtles that I own, including a large rock for them to rest on that is not in the water, and a hut for them to get away from the light.

My yellow belly slider is doing fine. He has almost doubled in size, and very cute and playful. But the False Map Turtle might have even gotten smaller, his shell is very soft now, and he won’t eat anything I give him except for freeze dried shrimp (which I know has no nutritional value) and the feeder guppies, but only if I catch the guppies for him and hand feed the guppies to my turtle.

He seems to like really soft food like the fish, but I don’t know why he won’t eat plants, romaine lettuce, or especially the cuttle bone that would supply him with calcium.

He needs more Vitiman A and Calcium, but how can I get it to him if I can’t through food. Or what Soft foods can you recommend that are low in protein and high in calcium?!

Thank you so much for your help.
