 Box turtles info pls.

I have a male? box turtle that only eats worms what else are they suppose to eat

What species of box turtle do you have? There are dozens of species; saying "I have a box turtle" doesn’t mean much. Can you post a picture of it? Knowing the species of the box turtle will determine the care required for it: substrate, temperatures, humidity, food choices.

What is your set up like now? The basking temp, humidity, fluorescent UV lighting, enclosure size, substrate, all the food you’ve tried so far? The more information you provide, the easier it is for everyone to help you.

If it is an eastern box turtle it will eat worms, mealy worms, crickets, slugs, bugs (mine liked potato bugs), small fish. They will eventually eat vegatation, I chopped some up very fine an added to the worms to get her started
