Need to find home for 5-year old male Hermann’s Tortoise 
Hello, I live in the Atlanta area and have a 5-year old male Hermann’s tortoise that we are looking to find a home for. I bought him at a Sarasota, FL tortoise breeder when I was in the third grade. Now being 14 and just entering high school, I have found that it it very hard to give him the proper care he needs between academics and sports. In the past my family and I have taken good care of him, by having both an indoor tank and an outside pen. When he got attacked by my dog, we took him to the vet and nourished him back to health. It would be great if someone around the Atlanta area would be willing to take this lovely tortoise, and provide a great home for him, as I am not willing to ship. We have lights, rocks, tanks. I bought him for $125, but if someone is willing to give him proper care, I will sell him for $50 including all of the items coming with him (lamps, cages, etc.) I would like to at least a picture of the home you are planning to keep him in, so I know I am giving the tortoise I have grown up with to a serious family that would provide a good home to Albert.

If you can’t find a buyer perhaps you could see if a reptile rescue exists in the Atlanta area.

I know how hard it must be, but i can assure you that It will have a forever home with me and my wife.
