(Tiny Paint Turtles) Happy, Healthy but always looking for suggestions

I have a tiny paint turtle, Sheldon. He was about 2.5 inches when my Boyfriend rescued him about 4 months ago. We got him a huge aquarium that we’ve planted several natural plants in and equipt him with a basking land, and Island. We feed him pellets and worms, bugs and his absolute favorite, tons of Rosy Minnows and has doubled in size. His favorite this to do is eat and run around in his outdoor habitat. Any suggestions on new foods he may love or care?

Thanks, Danielle

His shell looks like it could use a cleaning. From the picture I’m not sure if it’s just algae or a more serious problem. Otherwise it looks and sounds like everything’s great.
