Help would be appreciated They will eat guppies, turtle pellets... even hot dog. It’s fun to watch them eat guppies because they sit at the bottom of the tank and wait for a fish to come by. Hope that helps.

Help would be appreciated Yes, he is absolutley right. And give it cuttlebone, just drop it near the turtle in the water, mine (spotted turtles)chomp right down on the cuttlebone, it gives them calcium.-collin

Help would be appreciated You could give him some minnows, gold fish, crayfish and pond snails. The young are very fond of mealworms, guppies and ghost shrimp. Young and adult alike appreciate night crawlers. Chicken meat, beef heart, turkey, and fish slabs are all good to offer as well. A surprisingly large amount of the diet should consist of vegetation as well. Try giving out romaine lettuce, mustard greens, elodea, water hyacinths; and some will even take strawberries, apple and banana on occasion (although these items should only be offered periodically). Turtle, trout and catfish chows can be given, but these items should not make up the entire food intake. About the hot dog I would not give a turtle hotdog, too much sodium, processed meat should not be given.

Help would be appreciated Oh. I get what you meant in the other post. Sorry. I thought you meant like no pork, chicken, or any type of ’common’ meat that we eat. Sorry.-collin
