 Leaving need idea for transport
im leaving and need to figure out whats the best way tio transport my turtles. and sugesstions would be helpfull

i talked to somebody once who uses rubbermaid containers to transport all his herps. he has turtles, tortoises, snakes, lizards, frogs (well basically almost everything).

Use pastic boxes (like the rubbermaid tubs sugested above) lined with wet towels. keep them warm and dark. Make sure you open the boxes every hour or so to allow air in .
Do not try to transport them in water. Try to keep the boxes dark; that will reduce the stress on them.
Don’t use boxes that are much larger than the animals.
They should be able to turn around and walk a bit but you don’t want the moition of the car/plane causing them to be thrown against the walls of the box.
