 Help with decoration

I just washed a decoration because it was giving out strong odor, I washed it with a product that has bleach and i rinsed it about 30 times with hot water. Is it safe to put it back in the tank or should i do something else before putting it back in?

What type of decoration? because if it is painted it might keep the odor in the paint in that case get rid of it
