Soft shell floating 
what does it mean when a soft shelled turtle floats?????????
please help i dont want it to die....

Is he eating? When he is floating does he hold on to something or just floating? My turtles will just float too. But if you think that he is sick then maybe you should take him to the vet. He could have respitory infection. If he like leans to one side when floating then he may have water in the lungs. He will need to go to the vet asap. Does he make any noise? Eyes swollen? Well answer a few more questions and I am sure someone here could be able to help you a little better. Hope he is ok!

no isnt eatin and he dosent hold on to anything he just floats, now im nticing he isnt hoding his head up mch either, and he does’t lean. he dosnt make any noise, n swollen eyes. right now i got him in a bowl cause i afraid hll drown, cause he floats t th water filter.

hmmm I think you should take him to the Vet, is there one close by? He should really go, soon! You have his light on him Right? Uva Uvb? He needs that. How warm is his water? I hope he gets better!
