R.E.S  i came home and noticed the turtels had moved the rocks from the bottom in a little spot. is there a reason for that?

R.E.S  I have not noticed mine doing that but hen again i have heavy rocks in my tank. But I have seen him try to move rocks to try to get to food that fell between rocks maybe thats what yours was doing.

 i don’t think they are makin a nest b/c i have only had they for like a week or two and they are babys but i’m not to sure what sex they are and it is really hard for me to tell b/c one minute i think they are both girls then i think they are both male and then i think they are one of each i have no idea

R.E.S  They usually hibernate for 4 months. DO NOT let them hibernate. Obviously you werne’t expecting this, raise tremps, make days last longer, turtles have to be in excellent shape, or else they will die during hibernation. First of all, you have t feed them A LOT before hibernation, take them to the vet, then, DON’T feed them, make sure they have emtied their body of ALL wases, then, take them to the vet again, then, take a smallcooler, put 5 inches of MUD in it, and about 4 inches of water, and put them in it with no heat or lighting or filtration. -collin
