Safe Plants?
I have a Red Eared Slider, who’s not really all that big. He’s still a baby, but I set him up an outdoor habitat in a kiddie pool that I thought he would much prefer to swim in and to have all that extra space for how small he is now. Right now, the pool kinda looks plain and I was wondering if there were certain type of water plants that are poisonious to them? And if there are some, what are they? I think Mr. Turtle would be much happier in an environment that is well vegetated (that even a word? o.O) So, if anyone can help out, it would be muchly appreciated! <3 Aussie |

Water sprite would be good for a pond, it grows both rooted and floating, is very hardy and my turtle loves it. Mine prefers soft leafed plants like monywort etc... She’s not really fond of swords or crypts. Elodea would work but I find it too messy. |
