 Transporting Turtles

I need to know the best way to transport turtles, because Monday I’m going to my Grandmothers house and I need to know really soon! Can I use a 2.5-3 gallon storage container and put a lid over it? I know not to put any water in it. Would this work?

just put it in a small container with a screened lid and on paper towels.if your grandma is days away the put it in a bowl of water like every 4 hrs.

I prefer cloth towels to paper ones. Better padding in case the car hits a bump.
