Plus be careful. I got live plants for my fbt tank and did not know they had snails and eggs on them and I ended up with a horrible snail infestation. I cleaned the tank 3 times but them kept coming back so I got a new tank and all new decorations and they are finally gone! I know Petsmart sells snail free plants. I am gonna check them out tomorrow for my map turtle tank. The turtles will eat the snails though so it might just be ok and hey they’ll get some free food?!

A couple of plants you can use are water hyacinth, water lilies, elodia, and duckweed. Duckweed is cool cause it’s little and can cover the top of the water which the turtles will peek their noses up through-very cute.
