My turtle eggs !!! hatched today!, i found some wild turtle eggs in my aunts yard so i carefully placed them in a container of vermiculite and transfered them home into my incubator, they were incubated at 81-84 degrees for about a month or so? but two of them hatched today and they are baby red ear sliders about the size of a qaurter, they are really cute and i was wondering how i should take care of them for the first couple of weeks i have them because in my area im pretty sure its illegal to own them, so im going to release them once they havge a good start. any help is gggggreatly apreciated.
thanks

My turtle eggs !!!
Do you live near water?? If i were you i would keep them till they get bigger, but i’m facing the same problem, except mine haven’t hatched yet. I have two from the wild that are about 3inches across, what are you feeding yours, mine ate some hotdog and then the rest of the wild caught guppies so i’m out of natural food? Are there really place that are illegal to own them??? Good luck, hope the rest of them hatch.

My turtle eggs !!! Sorry I can’t help you, but where did you find the eggs? I was looking for turtle eggs in my neighborhood so I could raise the babies in y pond. I want to know of a good spot to look for turtles and their eggs.
