 Answer quick!

My map turtle has gotten out of her tank because someone filled her tank 2 high and i was wondering if their first instinct is to hide or to run out of the room... plz answer fast! thanx

they will first explore.
Heres what you do
1. look under every darkk place it could possibly have gotten to.
2. I have had one under the couch for 2 weeks and it was just fine (a little deyadrated but it was ok) and also under my guest bed I found an escaped red ear.
3. after exploring they will get stressed out and Hide so you probably wont find him wondering across the floor
4. put out a pan of water in each room

well we searched the house from top to bottom... she is just gone... We think our dog picked her up and brought her outside and left her... then she walked away... hopefully no raccoons got her and I think she is in a big row of bushes but it is to thick and I cant get in there... hopefully she is ok and we will find her where ever she maybe:(
