I dont know or sure but play it safe and make her a place to lay.
7-8" coconut fiber forest bedding substrate is in my oppinion the best. with some leaf litter over it.
and remember when you come across eggs... DONT TURN THEM if they are turned 20 minuts or more after laying , it dies.
do you know how to incubate them?

i’m in the same boat as you lol.
my common musk turtle is laying eggs today,or has eggs ready to be layed. i put a container of bedabest, coconut fiber, and play sand(all mixted in) for my musk turtle, with some leaf litter on top.
i was gone for two days so i just put in it 20 minutes ago,and she already has been digging, but i’ve also seen them mate NUMEROUS times.
with your YBS i think it will take days, maybe a week at most for her to lay eggs.
well, i’ve never bred YBS but that’s my "educated guess".
