any very fast ,energetic fish(like the balla shark or chiclid) or bony, armoured fish(like a placo, but make sure it’s bigger than your turtle!).neon fish look cool but i don’t know if they would live more than a few months with your turtles.

p.s. are you putting all 3 of your RES into the 130 gallon tank?

No! I am just putting my biggest one in there. And my baby turtles are moving to a 20gal for now. Which is a good size for them atm. So Can I really put some balla sharks? I love those! I wana get some ballas and chichlyds. Also how about glass cats?

glass cats,....those almost invisible transparent catfish? i love those, except i don’t think they’re really that fast against a turtle.maybe put some hiding places in and some fake leaves to conceal it.

What I am thinking, is I want to get some cichlids, zebra danios, balla sharks, and some cool tetras. I know the turtle will probably kill them so....

I am going to put plenty of hiding spots, plus, i will put a box in the tank, with a hole, so the fish can go in, but the turtle cant, so i am hoping that will let the fish be safe, and the turtle to slowly get used to the fish. Is this a good idea?

So long as you have enough hiding s[ots for the fish that the turtle cant get into it should be ok. But you might find the occaasional nip mark on the fish but ya the faster the fish the better.

Yep! that is the plan! So are there any fish that maybe arent good to go with a turtle? I know that deaths will happen, and I am okay with that, just what fish just cant go with turtles?

any bony fish like the algae eater or placo that is smaller than your turtle and your turtle could not digest and die from.
