 Basking temps too hot?

I have a pair of Malaysian box turtles and I just purchased an all-in-one uvb/heat bulb by repti-sun for them. Unfortunately the smallest wattage they make is 100, so my basking temp is 103F. Now everything I’ve read says their temps shouldn’t be above 90F. However the turtles are still eagerly basking even tho the temp is 103F. They do have a separate area on the cool side and the water is maintaining at about 80F, so they can get away from the heat. So my question is should I be concerned about the temps?

I would. They could sit there or a long time and not notice the extreme heat. Find a way to put it up higher to make it cooler.

I found a way to raise the light so the temps are now maintaining around 88-90F. Thanks for the input tho.
