Kwoodrow View Profile	Help with hibernating RES We built a custom turtle pond for our RES , 750 gallons, very deep and lots of moving water. We would like to talk to someone about letting her hibernate over winter in the pond. Our question is what do we use to put in the bottom of the pond that won’t cloud the water to much (dirt, sand ???)It does’nt freeze here but we are worried about doing this. We live in San Jose Calif. and would like to talk to someone else who’s done this successfully.
