 3 baby red eared sliders

I have 3 baby RES that are all about 2 inches in diameter in an 80 gallon tank. How much should I feed them? I usually feed them anywhere from 12-15 commercial pellets once every day at the same time. I added small fish to the tank but they never eat them. Whenever I try to pick any of them up they usually try to bite me by extending their head all the way out of their shell. Is this normal behavior? Please help me and give me any tips, everything is appreciated!
