Uro tank and Leopard Gecko tank My gf has been busting my chops about getting a pair of leopard gecko’s.. or at least just 1 for now. Anyway, I know the geckos require humidity at until we get new furniture I only have room to put another tank next to my uro’s tank. I am a little concerned about the humidity getting into the uro tank. any thoughts on this? they are both glass aquarium tanks, and im not in a hurry to setup this gecko tank so if humidity will be a problem for sure then it will wait until next month when our new furniture arrives and i make space on the other side of the room.

Uro tank and Leopard Gecko tank If your uro tank is large enough and has the proper temperature gradient, I would not expect it to be a problem.

Uro tank and Leopard Gecko tank I had problems with my dendro enclosures in the room with the uro’s. The heat from the uro’s enclosures kept drying out the frog viv’s. I know dart frogs probably have higher humidity than geckos, but you might have the same problems. My frogs were across the room from the lizard cages. I had to move all the frogs out (their enclosures are much smaller than three uro enclosures!).

Uro tank and Leopard Gecko tank hah, yea geckos dont exactly need the same space as a uro :) Im probably gonna just get things together and wait for the furniture to setup the tank on the other side of the room. 14’ away should be better then 2" away

Uro tank and Leopard Gecko tank It should be fine. All leopard geckos need is a water dish and a moist hide. You dont need high humidity for them.
