 Help! Uro not eating for a week!!!

My uromastyx has not eatin for a whole week! im really worried, when i hold him, he is perfectly fine, hes curious and active but when i put him in the cage he just hides in his shelter. i give him zucini, spinach leaves, and grapes but he wont go near it. im afraid he could die, i have listened to some advice like putting a towel over his cage but it doesnt help! plz i need help!

First thing is to STOP the spinach immediately and provide him with endive, escarole (a.k.a chickory) and dandelion greens instead. The spinach is really bad for uros. Take time to do a "search" on this forum for spinach to learn why it should not be fed.

Please fill out the post "READ BEFORE POSTING" so that we can get a better idea of the enclosure and environment that your Uro is in. With that information, we’ll be able to help you out much easier. :)

This is to limit stress from movement outside the enclosure. Picking the animal up defeats the purpose. I would stop all handling of this animal.

I agree that answering the questions DM pointed out will help others attempt to help you.

ok, if the spinach is bad what about the zuccini and grapes, should i stop with those also?
