 Excellent inexpensive uromastyx hide

Littlefoots new favorite thing is a terra cotta clay saucer (base of a terra cotta pot) that has been broken in half so that he can squeeze under it. Its quite inexpensive, not dangerous, and seems to be the perfect height for him.

Just offering up this tip to anyone who needs it. :)
Anyone else have any uro-enviro tips?

Pots with a broken opening are great for little hides, especially low height pots because they can climb on top as well. Also, large plumbing pipes work great for tunnels!

I had my husband cut a terra cotta pot in half (the actual pot, not the saucer), so that I could lay it down and make a little hide for Gizmo. He never goes inside of it, but he LOVES to lay across the top of it. It’s under the UV light, and he just does a belly flop over it and hangs out, so cute!
