 AP Cages Question

Just a few questions the specialty cage for uromastyx:
-Do I need any of the other options or would you recommend any other options such as belly heat, Black UVB Fluorescent Fixture, White Fluorescent Fixture, Set of 4 Cage Casters?
-What cage top style should I get? I should just get a regular one correct since it comes with exposed inside fixtures?
-Does anyone see where you get at this package with the 24" high?
-When it speaks of MV bulb which wattage is it reffering to the 160? 160 Zoo?

I’m looking to stack a few cages so I was thinking this may be best? Any other ideas? Thanks in advance for your posts! Any help in this decision would be much appreciated.

I can’t answer your other questions but can this one:

You have to call them and special order it in 24" high, you also have to add venting. I know El_Toro and Doublemom ordered them recently, you might contact them.

All of those things will depend on what YOU want in the cage. If you want to stack them - get the solid top. If you want to wheel the cage around (they really aren’t that heavy), get casters. You probably don’t need belly heat unless you might use the cage for snakes. Once you decide what you want, just call and ask - they’ll make it how you need it since they’re all made to order anyway.

The zoo style UVB lamps are not for the general public. They could never be used in a cage like this.

I agree with El Toro on this one. Look at the specs for those "Zoo" style UVB lamps (by listing them as the 160 Zoo I’m guessing you are referring to the MegaRay).

You have to special order those from Bob with a phone call confirmation due to the UVB output.

Pretty much just meant for Zoos or if you are really experienced and have a VERY LARGE enclosure (with a way to properly measure the UVB as well).
