 Bee pollen

we are starting our first shed and everything seems ok just need some bee pollen. my health food store sells it in capsules is that ok and how much should i put on her food.

You can use that if you have to, but fresh bee pollen granules are better. Look at the health food store in the refrigerated section - they’re often in little ziplocks. Just a sprinkle of either is plenty.

Yeah, it will more than likely go more for the large granules than the "dust" from Capsules. Though they learn rather quickly how to pick out the pollen granules from the greens without getting many to any greens.

Something you might try in that case is to lightly mist the greens then sprinkle so that the granules stick to the greens.

Get the BIG JAR and if you don’t have allergies to many plants or bee venom, try some yourself...it’s really good!

Just go light with the Uros due to protein content (think perhaps sugars as well).

I use the granules from GNC . Only use a sprinkle no more than once a week . I started out once a week but now since I feed lentils( also protein ) once a week I only feed the Bee pollen every other week . Its very sweet and does contain protein . You do not want to over do the protein .
