Still having problems...please help!

Ok, I have had my mali uro for a week now, and she is still doing that body wave and being really mean towards me, i dont know why! She was fine on the way home and for the first 2 or 3 days and now she is just really skittish and mean, hitting her tail on the side of the cage and waving her body. I dont think its the time she has had to settle in because she was fine the first couple of days and now she is just being a poo head, lol, its sad cause its like a love, hate relationship. What do you guys think?

I think it’s time to just let her be. She was probably in shock of the move for the first few days and now she’s behaving like her old self. She’s trying to get out and get away from a strange environment. Give her time to settle in and do not force yourself on her until she’s ready to accept her new home. Good luck! They are skittish normally but mean is another story.

if she runs and hides you can try to dangle a pies of lettuce or other food like sliced apple in front of her hiding spot! it might work and she might come out.
