Sand? 
Is it ok to use sand for my uromastyx, its a mali and i just got him 5 days ago? i would like to know because there is alot of contraversie about the sand and wheather it is ok to use, i have heard people saying that if you have the right conditions it passes through and others that say it causes major impactions and they had to have surgury?

sand is okay to use, but i use a very soft type of astroterf.It’s not as good looking but u can clean it much easier.You just wash and disinfect it,making the terrarium much more neat.U can buy it at Home Depot.
