At least a 4’ x 2’ floor print. But the cage is not the only requirement. There’s tons of postings with everything from heat, lighting, diet. I would recommend doing some serious research before considering a uro.

Ornate’s require the same habitat as all the smaller species (not Egyptians). They are not really a beginner lizard, though. Do all of your research before you decide you want a uro. They are expensive to start up, and you can’t hold them and play with them. They loose heat too fast, so they need to stay in their enclosure. Make sure you have about $500.00 to invest at the start, and make sure your parents know their electric bills will be going up!!!
