 Is this an acceptable tank size

I am rescuing a male mali uromastyx and I wanted to know if a 40 gallon breeder would be sufficient since I have one lying around. Thank you.

not ideal, a 4 x 2 x 2 is recommended as a starter for uros. good luck with your rescue, any questions dont be afraid to ask

Thanks. I’m probably going to build him a cage but I dont know where to start. Any design plans anyone wants to share would be nice. I’ll post more as I think of it. Thanks a bunch.

There are lots of people who build their own enclosures ( me being one ) but i didnt make plans i just went for it.


maybe someone has plans for one they made. if not just get creative!!!

I dont really have plans but here is a thread showing my Cage Build
It should at least give you some ideas. The 40 gallon is not going to be ok for anything more then a few weeks .
