I noticed no one has answered and I think that’s because your question is too vague. Try including the specifications of your tank and I think people will be able to help more.

Take care,

There are no quick answers. Heres a copy and paste I wrote in another thread.

There is no definite formula . Depending on where you are ,outside temps, inside temps, size of enclosure all make things different. What works for others may not work for you. It all comes down to trial and error.
One bulb is not going to do it all. A megaray will provide heat and UVB but you will need supplemental heat and light.
My megaray 160 only gets my basking spot to 116 on it’s own. I use an additional megaray heat projector on a thermostat to raise it up to 124.
Two four foot fluorescent’s provide light .
One 100 watt Ceramic heat element on the cool end also controlled by a thermostat keeps the cool end from becoming too cool.
You will find it’s quite hard to keep a large enclosure with the high temps that uro’s need. The more automated you make it the better. You will never be there 24/7 to turn things on and off as temps rise and fall throughout the day.
