I believe I will try it. If after an adjustment period to new surroundings he continues to hide, I can go back to cabinets for him. It is the whole ’overhead predator’ thing I am concerned about. I will just keep my movements slow and predictable over him.......and just see how it works out. Appreciate the input. |

I covered the part of the door that you can see with super sticky shelving paper.
the inside got a wash of water base color...nothing heavy.
Slate is buried in the sand which is 6" deep. The slate has caves and hides that he can expose if he does a little digging under both the hot spot and the cool side.
I really don’t have much tweeking to do on it. It took 2 days to put together and I didn’t have to use chemicals or sealers, just elmers glue. |

I think I am getting a handle on keeping uros. Think I am going to have to find me another one. Not another mali....I am not interested in breeding them. I would like a larger different colored uro. |
