Nice phibyi :) I don’t offer fresh/thawed green peas very often (1-2 times a mo), but when I do my uros go nuts for them.

All of my uros love their peas, but this one in particular goes nuts for them.

My uromastyx doesn’t care for em .. is there a certain brand? I’m trying to find more of a variety of food to give mine as my local stores only sell endive and Collards??? That confuses me I sit there for like half an hour looking for good. Foods and that’s all I can find!!!

From what I understand peas should be used sparingly as they are relatively high in protein and phosphorous. As noted on UroWiki sugar snap peas (which ironically have less sugar than green peas) and shredded green beans seem like better bets, although they too are listed as occasionals. If you’re trying to add something new you could always buy a bag of lentils for $1 and either soak them overnight or toss a few into a tupperwear container with a moist paper tower to get them sprouted--mine enjoy both ’preparations’. Either that or venture out to a new market--I’ve got dozens around me but only one consistently carries the food items I need. Also, while variation is great even more important is nutritional balance--don’t go out of your way to mix things up just for the sake of it if you would be sacrificing the latter.

But I digress...back to the original thread topic.

I feed my uros peas once a month, I just get the frozen kind.
I enjoy seeing them chase the peas like little soccer balls.

Do you just thaw them out or cook them first?
