Belgian endive  hello i have not posted on this forum in quite a while, my uro is doing fantastic. but i was wondering if belgian endive would be a good source of food for my uro. of course endive is great, but i really dont know much about belgian endive. i have not fed it to him, im just wondering.

Belgian endive  not really a good food. Belgian endive is related to the chicory family and is grown in the dark and does not have much nutrients. it usually comes in long heads that doesn’t have much leaf. look for curly endive in the chicory family,dandelion greens escarole as staple foods. many other leafy greens can also be fed in moderation.

Belgian endive  my general diet for the uro is spring mix without spinach and i chop up extra endive and put it in there with occasional carrots and squash. and of course dandelions when i can find them. i was just wondering if i could add belgian to the diet. thank you for the info!
