A few questions first...

-Is the basking surface temp on the warm end 100f or is the ambient air temp is 100f?
-How are you measuring temps? (analog/dial type thermometer, digital thermometer, IR temp gun etc etc)
-What type of heating are you using on this side of the enclosure/tank? (Be sure to include wattages and specific bulb types)
-How far is the heat source from the basking surface? (actually measure)

Thanks!

This should be changed. Analog thermometers are notorious for being inaccurate. I would advise investing in both a reliable digital thermometer/hydrometer unit (preferably one with a wireless probe) in order to obtain reliable temp readings. Check out Amazon or a local lowes, home depot, walmart etc etc for one. I would also recommend grabbing an IR temp gun with a distance to spot ratio of at least 6:1. Amazon or harbor freight both offer them at reasonable prices. Until you do this I wouldn’t change anything because frankly analog thermometers just can’t be trusted.
