 Health /Picture update!

So i thought i would take some pictures of the uros i rescued a while back, i think they are doing much better and have defiantly gained some weight! Which im am super happy for, they both have shed, except for their tails but they look 80 percent better! I have not had to use the mineral oil at all now so i hope they continue to shed and i wont have to use the oil to aid.

i will post a before shot of both of them and then a shot i just took so sorry for the overload of pics!
( I do not handle them more then i need to so hope the pics show how good they are doing!!)

It’s good to hear that they’re doing better...but it appears your red has been switched with a yellow? What’s going on with that?

Yes i am happy they are doing better. He is still red, but not as deep of a red the pictures do make him look yellow though! He is red still, just not like before hmm wonder why? Do you have a theory?

They will often shift in coloration intensity and or shade based on mood, lighting and temperature but I don’t recall ever seeing a change in an adult as drastic as you’ve shown here. The first image clearly shows red/orange coloration while the following image shows a yellow individual, which is obviously the same individual as the above image based on the dorsal pattern. It’s just odd to me...

Well as long as it isnt a bad thing im not going to worry about it to too much, but you do have me thinking now.
