Question????
sometimes i’m on the ball python forum they fight like almost all the time. I am not trying to pick a fight but anyways are false water cobras venomous.I kinda think so cause the word cobra but that dosen’t mean any animal called a cobra is venomous.I also kinda think there not because I see people on this forum holding them without caution some people put there hands kinda close to it’s head. They will morlikely get bitten. also I don’t see tongs or snake hooks on pics. because if it is venomous you should have snake hooks or tongs right? just questions in mind please answer. also would you people get mad if somebody talks about a snake that has no venom. I am thinking about coming to this forum cause you guys are so nice. As again please answer THANKYOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Question???? Yes they are venomous.
And you won’t find nice here. this is one of the most serious forums on here because it works with the most dangerous animals. Everyone will be nice and serious until stupid questions start popping up. Just use good grammar, typing skills, and be polite and it will be smooth sailing.
And could you restate your questions on separate lines? It is sorta hard to make out in a big jumbled paragraph.

Question???? They are rear fanged venomous, which means they dont have fangs up front like the other venomous snakes. and i have "heard" people say there venom is as potent as a timber rattlesnakes venom, but its delivered poorly becasue in order for them to get what ever little amount they could in you you would have to let one chew on you for like 40-60 seconds. for instance, a rattlesnake could deliver 100mm in your system, but a FWC would only deliver about 10mm. And it could cause some swelling or burning, but its is not know to ever be fatal, unless you are allergic of course!
i have been trying to research info about them becasue i wss thinking about getting one later on!
hope this helped!

Question???? People say that there has never been a recorded death from an FWC but I’m not so sure. If you have an allergy to the venom or the bacteria in the snakes mouth (untill you get bitten it’s pretty hard to tell) then it can be a problem. However being rear fanged it does make it slightly harder to get bitten. I would definitely use tongs and hooks though.
