 Any info on hots?

im new to this forum but thinking about getting my first hot. Any ideas or thoughts on the subject would help.

how old are you, what snakes have you kept, how long you kept snakes, what kinda venomous snake did you want to get as your first. ??

I’m 24 years old and I’ve kept a good number of snakes like amazonian tree boas, Burmese pythons, green tree pythons, king snakes, milk snakes, garter snakes, and other kinds. and I’ve also had other herps like monitors, and gators. i have about 5 years experience with herps. And i thought about getting a white lipped tree viper as my first hot. I have a friend with a lot of hots who said he would be my mentor. But would to like hear from other hot handlers to see what they think.

most of the time arboreal hots are not the best first but if you have a mentor i would say go for it.
