 Baby WD’s with no Male???

I have had a single WD for the past 9 months (2 feet head to tail). Nothing had happened of any interest until today.

I FOUND A BABY, AND THEN A SECOND !!!

How is this possible? Should I separate them from their mother so she will not eat them?

Goodness! Yes you should definitely separate them! I have heard that the female can carry sperm from past matings for a while. I do know that the eggs incubate around 60 days or so, can be more if the temps are a bit lower.
