Question...
i have a 14 month old water dragon who’s femoral pores have turned white. i originally thought it was a male, but recent info makes me believe he could be a she. She has a pear shape body, and her crest is good size, but not that huge. Any help would be great!

Question...
hey they pores increase in size while they mature thats y its soo hard to tell the sex of the dragon while young. if i culd c a pic i think i can tell u. from what u r saying i kinda think if the pores r there its a boy, the smaller crest doesn’t always occue in telling male from female, show me a pic of the pores under the abdomen if u can.

Question...
I think JakeProuse has a very good example, notice how ’fat’ the male pores are to. I think the white pores could just be a maturing stage she? is going through.

Question...
Thanks for the info you guys. She? was actually a rescue I took in. Previous owner had abandoned her along with another one that was really injured. I hand fed the sick one for about 6months before it passed away. She is getting ready to shed again, so maybe that could have something to do w/ it. Tell you one thing though wd make one of the best pets out there. She loves to sit on my shoulder as long as she can. When she eats she reminds me of a raptor, very vicious. I am going to try and get some pics of her.
