 Male&female WD fighting

i bought a female WD 9months ago and recently she laid eggs so i decided to get her a bigger tank and a male. Since then the males been chasing her about head bobbing which i thougth was good now they keep snapping at eachother. i have made hiding places in the viv which she uses but i need to know if this is normal. i dont trust the petshops advice.both when i got them had been damagedin some way she has nose rub and he spines missing and quiet stumpy in size so i thougth i would get them because they would have been left there unwanted by people wanting perfect Wd

I think it is normal and you may want to seperate them if it is bad, but I will BUMP this up so you can get others opinion.

I would suggest you to really separate them. I have a couple, and I do need to keep them separate.

My female, when she gets near the period of laying eggs, she starts rejecting the male at any cost, and attacking him if necessary, but Draco never minds about her signs of agression, and keeps head bobbing to her, and forcing her to mate.

And this behaviour keeps for about two weeks after the female lays the eggs.

i agree with buiatti. on another list, a cwd owner said that her male dragon bit off the crest of the female. these guys can hurt each other. i keep my female separate from the males.
