Minimum for an adult is 4ft tall 4ft wide and 2 ft deep.... bigger is better, one side transparent... the sides and back should be opaque because water dragons dont understand glass... they think they can walk trhough it...

But you can either make just an area of the front plexiglass or the entire front a viewing area.... Diego’s enclosure has all but a 3 inch trip in the front plexiglass and Angus will have a 4x4ft square plexiglass front... not sure about trim....

But the enclosure post like Minya said is very helfpul

what’s cool is to make a frame floor whatever dimension say 4x4x2 x 12"-18" tall add another floor and cut out for your pool water feature.. the first support really isn’t a floor just frame ...with a door & walls to acess your plumbing and drainage system ..or storage

You can get a sturdy water container( small cement mix tub 6.00 ) and install a real drain and strainer basket( 5.00) from the LOWES or HOME DEPOT etc. use plastic trap and drain pipe (5.00) and a ball valve from the spinkler dept. (3.99) never have to lift and remove the water dish again ...just drain into bucket and dispose in the garden. If you can do minor plumbing this is real easy and the folks at the store are real helpful too.. Use aqarium silicone to leak / water proof at the drain and fittings or use the regular stuff and air out for a week ...
