My dragon threw up...
Her skin looks a bit wrinkly as well. Maybe she needs more humidity? I need some help, guys. Thanks so much :) |

I also noticed that this happens mostly with mealworms and superworms. They seem to not be able to hold it in if they wolf it down or ate too much. Not sure why to be exact, could be because the shells are harder to digest (if even possible soemtimes). That’s why we don’t feed mealworms much if at all since its hard on their digestive systems. Superworms (large worms that look like mealworms) have softer exoskeleton shells and are a tad easier to digest. This has happened to my bearded dragons as well, where they threw up all the worms after a few hours. usually i find that by then they just throw up mostly the shells, where all the insides of the worms are gone... feed him some crickets and some easier to digest things, like silkworms and hornworms. feed the worms slowly, and in smaller amounts has solved my barfing lizzies problems. |
