Want some moths! hey guys, i have a young green basilisk. i was wondering if moths make a good food for them, its kinda fun to put them in his flexarium and watch him do acrobatic moves to catch them heheh. if they do make ok food does anyone know how i could go about getting some, like what worms i could buy on the internet that will turn into moths or any places you can buy them after they have become moths? im in canada and its getting cold so will not be finding anymore flying prey for my lil buddy
thanks

Want some moths! sounds like fun watching him go after the moths - try and get us a pic!!! silk worms and horned worms are moth larvae.

Want some moths! I agree, silkies would be best, but the moths do not fly. They change into moths, do not eat, and die after about a week or so. All they do in the moth stage is breed...

Want some moths! that’s really taking a chance since wild bugs could have pesticides on them. i do believe the horned worm moths do fly. butter worms turn into a nice moth.
