 Enclosures

Hey guys ...

I know this post has been seen and heard time and time again however im curious to know people ideas on how to build an enclosure using plexi glass?

how exactly should i be making this. I dont want it too large, however i do want it to house my water dragon who is slowly starting to grow now. Ive had people tell me so many different sizes. itll need to eventually be moved when i decide to move outta this house. So keep that in mind!

Please give me your thoughts on this type of enclosure and how to go about it.

plexi glass is perfect. i have two vivs using it. one is a small viv with all four sides plexi glass (had it shipped to me flat) and the other viv just has plexi glass on the sides and regular glass in the front.

I would highly advise finding an old piece of furniture from CraigsList; an entertainment center, bookshelves, dresser, etc. Then gut it and add some nice plexi doors. All you would have to do is frame them, and you get to pick how many doors. Ummmm, 5-6 foot long, by 2 feet wide and 5-6 foot high is perfect!

Sounds great .. is there a specific type of wood i should stay away from ? Just concerned with the moisture is all.

Yes, there are woods most would stay away from. However, if you spray with a poly spray thhave nothing to worry about. Check out our enclosures thread.
